Meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, with exception of July and December when no meetings occur.
Second Wednesday: General meeting:
7 – 9pm, Naperville Chamber of Commerce, third floor meeting room 375, (55 S. Main St. in downtown Naperville, 630-355-4141). Elevator access points available on the east end of the building by the parking garage and the middle entrance by Hugo’s Frog Bar and Sur La Table Get Directions.
Generally, the first half of our meetings are slated for chapter business and the second half for guest speakers. Meetings begin at 7:00pm. Check the program schedule below for various topics that include research, craft, and all things of interest to writers.
Fourth Wednesday: Craft and/or Critique night:
7 – 9pm, Lisle Library (777 Front Street, Lisle, 630-971-1701). The meeting room is on the first floor on the right side of the main entrance. Occasionally, meetings may occur in a smaller study room further inside the library. Elevator access is available. Get Directions.
Critique nights are arranged prior to meetings. Any guest can sit in on a critique session, however manuscript critiques are reserved for chapter members. Full critique guidelines are provided to members.
Windy City RWA prides ourselves on providing excellent programming to benefit every writer no matter what stage they’re at in their writing career. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings without any obligation to join, so please visit us soon!
