March – April
“Your Life Begins, at the End of Your Comfort Zone.” As writers, we often have to step out of that warm and fuzzy zone in order to be successful. So, whether it’s digging deep and putting your soul on the page, sending out that requested manuscript, or pushing send on an important email, I challenge you to do it. I challenge you to take that step beyond your comfort zone. To take every opportunity you can from this moment forward to connect, to grow, to share, to make every moment count. To be brave and Dare to SOAR.
Our March Dare to SOAR participants!
Special kudos to our remote Dare to SOAR participants:
And our SOARING member of the month is:
J. C. DePaul
Busy mom. Oh wait that’s redundant. What mom isn’t busy?
Not yet published author. YET. Key word. I will be published someday.
Avid reader. Lover of the romance genre. Six year member or RWA. Five Year member of Windy City RWA. Woo Hoo! Always wanted to be like Cathie Linz, Sandra Brown, or Jude Deveraux when I grew up. A writer/Published author. Got older and put the dream of writing on a shelf in favor of being a grown up with a job and family. Had an epiphany at thirty-nine a few months after my father died. Why wait? Live your dreams now. And so I am. Dare to Soar!
Keep dreaming and doing and remember:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson
