Blowing Kisses BlogThe speakers at this year's RWA National Conference have all kept the audiences enthralled and hanging on their everyword; and Eloisa James did that just a short while ago. I say add her speech to your must-listen-to recordings from the conference. You won't be disappointed. I truly appreciated her words of wisdom but I also appreciated her sincerity and honesty on the ups and downs of her path to best-selling author. Apparently, Janet Evanovich, the writer, is truly a family business involving her entire family, which is wonderful to hear and sparks a bit of envy - but it's the good kind of envy. We've been meeting for several months now at the Naperville Chamber of Commerce conference room and it is proving to be a wonderful location for our group. The only thing that will make it better is more of our members coming out to share in the experience. While we draw nice crowds we'd love to see faces we've haven't seen in awhile. Hopefully, many more will make it out for the veterans - and remember - we have refreshments and a very nice raffle prize each meeting. Denise brought an incredible basket of books that Jean Newlin won last night.
Just in case you don't know where our new meeting location is here are some bread crumbs for you to follow:
