Regena Bryant finally started writing in 2004 inspired by the book, The Pact-Three Young Men Make a Promise and Fulfill A Dream.  She brokered a deal with her beloved nephew.  “If you finish college, I’ll write a book.”

In between the pages of her life’s work as a wife, mother, training specialist, PTA volunteer and small business owner, she writes contemporary women’s fiction.  Regena contributes to Windy City as the Assistant Newsletter Editor and writes a column, Letters to my Unpublished Self.

In December of 2009 she gave her first completed manuscript, A Lasting Legacy to her nephew in exchange for his college degree.

“One day I’m going to look back in wonder.”
