General Meeting New location

We've been meeting for several months now at the Naperville Chamber of Commerce conference room and it is proving to be a wonderful location for our group. The only thing that will make it better is more of our members coming out to share in the experience. While we draw nice crowds we'd love to see faces we've haven't seen in awhile. Hopefully, many more will make it out for the veterans - and remember - we have refreshments and a very nice raffle prize each meeting. Denise brought an incredible basket of books that Jean Newlin won last night. Just in case you don't know where our new meeting location is here are some bread crumbs for you to follow: The address is 55 S. Main Street (near the corner of Main and Van Buren), downtown Naperville, IL 60540 (on the 3rd floor - room 375). It is located in the same Building as Coldwater Creek and above Hugo's Frog Bar. The best place to park is the multi-level parking structure that sits between the intersection of Van Buren and Washington and the intersection of Benton and Washington adjacent to the Post Office. Parking is free at this location. Another parking structure is available on Jefferson across from the Jefferson Tea House but it's further away. I'm working on a better map for folks to view and print from the Website. Anyone out there considering joining our group, please come to one of our meetings and we will welcome you with warm hearts and lots of writing advice. I gave the presentation last night and I think it went well but would like others to comment. Thanks to Sherry as always for all her hard work in opening the room and helping me with the refreshments. I will be posting links for members in the near future to the materials I handed out as well as a post-program synopsis of sorts. Don't know exactly what that is yet myself but I will surprise everyone including me. Stay tuned until next time and have a wonderful and happy writing day. Terri Stone
