What Members Are Saying:

Windy City has always provided me a safe place to fall. The unstinting, uncritical support from its members has been a gift.
Lindsay Longford

Because of the encouragement from Windy City members, I have completed my novel and now have the knowledge and confidence to begin the agent search!
Stephanie Elliot

As a founding member of Windy City, I wanted a writers group that valued moral support because as a published author I know how isolating this profession can be. This chapter has exceeded my greatest hopes at providing inspiration, motivation, and education for writers.
Cathie Linz
Author of over 50 books

Even though I work on most Wednesdays and rarely make the meetings, I feel a part of things through the Web site and other e-mails I receive. Being a member of this group makes me realize that I'm not alone; every voice is important, like being in a big band!
