Elysa Hendricks

After trying her hand at a variety of careers: retail sales, insurance underwriter, video store owner, home day care provider, and motherhood, in 1990, Elysa Hendricks, a longtime reader of romance, sat down to write a short contemporary romance. When her heroine turned out to be a winged, telepathic alien, Elysa decided she enjoyed writing stories set in different places and times.

Elysa has five books in print and several due for release shortly. She’s a founding member of the Windy City and the FF&P Chapters of Romance Writers of America.

Elysa and her husband have been happily married for thirty years and have two sons.  Someday she dreams of writing on a laptop while sitting on a tropical beach.  In the meantime she keeps warms by creating sizzling love scenes.
